Students in this workshop will be introduced to various fusing techniques to create their own flat and raised patterned glass. The glass will then be turned into finished pieces. Projects include jewelry components, a small slumped bowl, and tiles. The basics of safety, cutting, sanding, glass compatibility and kiln schedules will be covered, as well. Students will leave this class with a good foundation of knowledge about fused and slumped glass which they can build on for years to come.
